Good company, good wine (this town is in the heart of wine country) and best of all---good art!
Lovely twings on fruits! It looks a lovely show! I wish I could come! : )
ReplyDeleteWish you could see the show, too. The opening is on the town's Second Saturday Art Walk so all the wine tasting rooms and galleries are open late. It makes for a very interesting evening 😆
DeleteOh Healdsburg is a great place for a show, all kinds of clay teaches patience that's for sure. I can't imagine how you package your sculptural work. readmiring foxy lady below, so wonderful
ReplyDeleteHealdsburg has really grown into a beautiful town. Lots of artisan shops, galleries, cafes, etc. It is a wonderful place for art.
DeleteAll clay pieces should have Patience at least as their middle name! You found the perfect twigs for your pears. They are stunning -- and I'm sure not easy to pack. Wish I could come to your show - wine and art - two of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteThe twigs are from a California bay laurel tree. They are dried for their leaves and the branches are left for a year. They harden and turn nearly ebony in hue. When trimmed they are so fragrant.
DeleteYes, wine and art and I forgot to mention music. Lots of live music.
